Letter from Ian Marshall

Ian Marshall (1952-56) sent the following email offering a story of a Nudgee Old Boy. An NCOBA past President, Ian has been a tireless worker for our association and always has an ear for a good news story item concerning any old boy. He wrote as follows...

I am on the Executive of the University of Queensland Squadron Branch of the RAAF Association –we try to identify surviving WW2 RAAF members and invite one as a guest speaker to the several meetings and lunches we hold during the year. It was my privilege and pleasure recently to host William James “Bill” O’Connor, who attended Nudgee from 1937-41. I am offering, with his approval of course, his story, which you may think suitable for inclusion in Signum Fidei.

Editors Note: The Bill O’Connor Story, as told by Ian is published here. As always we are grateful for Ian’s support of all things pertaining to Nudgee and the NCOBA’s production of Signum Fidei.
