Swim Captain's Dinner

On Friday the 21st April 2006, a Swimming Captains’ Dinner was held in the Chandelier Room at Tattersall’s Club in Brisbane to acknowledge the achievement of Nudgee’s twelve (12) year championship winning streak. The night was attended by all premiership winning Captains from 1992 through to 2003. 

Also in attendance were Mr. Greg Hose, one of Nudgee’s most popular and successful sportsmasters and Mr. Vince Raleigh who has been Nudgee’s most successful swimming coach and is currently coaching at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra.  Both gentlemen were at Nudgee throughout the duration of the 12-year winning sequence, a golden period in Nudgee’s sporting history.  The night was a great success and thoroughly enjoyed by all.
