Graham Leddie advised the following College information... Recently we advertised the Director of Boarding position nationally. In Edmund Rice Schools senior management positions are always advertised after the completion of a 5 + 5 year contract. I would like to announce and congratulate Mr John Bussenschutt who was successful from this process. John is the current Head of Boarding at Scotch College, Adelaide and previously has been a Faculty Head of Technology and House Dean. He is currently studying a Masters in Business Administration and will take up the new position with his family at Nudgee College as of January 16, 2006.

I would like to thank, on behalf of the Nudgee College Community, Mr Richard Stokes who has held the position of Dean of Residential Care and Director of Boarding for the last 10 years.

He has served the community well and has put his heart and soul into Boarding at Nudgee College. Hallmarks of his leadership have been his approachability, generosity of spirit and genuine care. His commitment and interest in the lives of students studying away from home is evidenced by his impact across all residential care facilities in Australia as President of the Australian Boarding Staff Association. Richard has been an integral figure in the lives of boys living away from home. We thank him for being the principal carer for so many boys over this period and acknowledge his significant contribution to boarding life at Nudgee College.
