The course of the day started with 11am pre-lunch drinks at Kurrawa Surf Life Saving Club. Most of the guys made the early start at Kurrawa and swapped dodgy stories of rugby scores and fast cars; bantered at a few receding hair lines (and expanding waist lines) and reminisced of years past. Those without kids (and wives) looked much younger than those that had, but take away a few kilos or so, we were all the same - the belly laughs and stories sounded all the same! However, the entertainment at Conrad Jupiters must have been too good
to
miss, and I am sure the boys must have purposely left the camera in the
bag, so unfortunately there is no photographic evidence of what happened
behind those closed doors from 12 noon but with over 1,000 gents making
the
annual return to the famous Corney's lunch, it was sure to be a memorable
day. Listed below those old boys who attended.
