Ray Rinaudo (1966-70) Magistrate, Charleville Magistrates Court wrote from Charleville…We have settled in very well so far. I am doing a bit of traveling to Cunnamulla, Roma, Quilpie, Tambo and Mitchell and meeting Old Boys everywhere. We see Joe Tully a bit, of course, as he is a local now. We had a BBQ at home the other night when Queensland played the Hurricanes and won. It was a 2am job!! Joe has started a group out here called the WWW (Western Wallaby Watchers) who meet at the RSL every time the Wallabies play. Should be fun. I ran into Peter Clayton in Cunnamulla (much to my ill health after a thousand beers!!). Nick, our son has a girlfriend who has a friend in Augathella whose father just happens to be Mark Lyons who was a year behind me at Nudgee. We are very keen to have the race day and we need to liaise with someone so get back to me about that. The weather has been very kind to us so far. In fact it is storming outside as I write. Congratulations on the continued high standard of the website. It is excellent. |
