Martin Kerby made the following request for assistance…I was hoping that in future editions of Signum Fidei it might be possible to insert a small article about the museum/archives in order to generate some interest. The first is a photograph of Air Vice Marshal Sir Neville McNamara's 1938 uniform. It is one of two that the museum holds - the other belonging to Air Vice Marshal Sir Ern Carroll (1940 -42). The museum now holds a collection of seven RAAF uniforms belonging to Old Boys- two Air Vice Marshals, one Wing Commander, one Flight Lieutenant (Iraq) one DFC winner (South West Pacific), and two bomber command POWs. Naturally we would love to add to this collection, as well as increasing our holdings from the other two services. At present we have two Army uniforms one a reproduction and no naval uniform. Can anyone help? The second photograph is the Nudgee Cadet Colour. Are there any Old Boys with cadet stories, photos, uniforms etc which could form the basis of an enduring memorial to those students?
