I have just completed renovating a house in 77 days. Here in Holland we call it ‘Het Blok’. In Australia it’s called ‘The Block”. There were many wonderful moments. However it was much harder than we had expected. I work in The Hague and ‘Het Blok’ was in Amsterdam which meant three hours travel per day. The house was in such a bad state we thought it would be impossible to finish it in such a short time. We were constantly followed by cameras and all of this happened in another language.

We are very proud of what we achieved and believed we had a very good chance of winning. If anyone is looking to buy a beautifully restored house in Amsterdam please let me know.
