MICHAEL JOHN LUDDY[1960-63] Garry Williams (1960-63) advised of the death of Michael in the following email... I attended Michael Luddy's funeral this morning. I could not see any one I knew, so assuming I was the only old boy attendee I thought I should send you an update for those who would remember Michael. He spent about twenty years globe-trotting in a senior financial capacity with a multinational. Decided to settle down in Canberra in the early 90s, and has been CFO of a major public corporation in town. He kept up his fitness with bike riding, and did it regularly. He was cycling in the hills around Canberra last Saturday, and passed away. It was out of the blue, no prior warning. It was a very big funeral, he was widely known and respected in the Canberra community. Michael leaves his wife Carmen and three adult children. On your behalf I passed on condolences to Carmen, and assured her that Mick would be fondly remembered by all his classmates. |
