Letter from Geoff Gardiner (1959–67) re death of his father and his uncle…

This is to advise that Len Gardiner, my father, passed away on April 14 2004. He attended Nudgee in 1923. His brother Bill also passed away on the April 6 2004. He attended Nudgee in the 1920s, being 2 years younger than Dad.

Dad was born in Cunnamulla in 1908 and was just one month short of his 96th
birthday when he died in St Vincent’s Hospital in Toowoomba. Bill was 93 at
his death and passed away in Pindara Hospital on the Gold Coast.

As they both outlived most of their contemporaries, there are probably not a
lot of Old Boys who remember them, but we would appreciate it if you could
mention it in the next edition of Signum Fidei.
